More than 1,200 people have been evacuated from a burning shopping mall in Hong Kong, with 13 injured


 

 Rescuers have evacuated more than 1,200 from the burning 38-story building of the World Trade Center in Hong Kong, reports The South China Morning Post.

There are currently at least 13 injured and "hundreds" stranded on the roof of the skyscraper. It is specified that among the victims is a 60-year-old woman who was hospitalized with difficulty breathing.

The fire in Causeway Bay - the heart of Hong Kong - broke out at around 12:30 local time (07:30 Bulgarian time) in a room for electrical switches, from where it was transferred to a bamboo scaffolding erected on the lower floors for repairs.
