Russia-China relations are stabilizing the international arena

Russia and China are building a comprehensive strategic partnership that is unprecedented. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his annual press conference, quoted by Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

As the head of state noted, he has built a personal relationship of trust with the President of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Xi Jinping, which helps to build business relations. China is the undisputed leader in the world economy, so it is not surprising that Russia is developing relations with it. Trade between the two countries has exceeded $ 100 billion. "China is Russia's number one trade and economic partner," Putin said.

According to him, Russia and China are working in different areas of cooperation. "China and Russia are committed to carbon neutrality by 2060. So far, we are supplying all kinds of energy to China. And then we will be ready, because the life of our countries does not end in 2060 and carbon neutrality can be achieved. in various ways, including the use of hydrocarbons, but only in an appropriate way, "said the Russian president.

Joint work is being carried out in the field of nuclear energy, high technology, in space, in practically all areas, including high-tech, as well as in the humanitarian sphere. Putin paid special attention to security. According to him, Russia and China are developing certain high-tech weapons. "We work in space, we work in the field of aviation: both planes and helicopters," the head of state said, adding that the armies of the two countries are conducting joint exercises, war games, patrolling the sea and air.

"This is an absolutely comprehensive partnership of a strategic nature, unprecedented in history, at least between Russia and China. And this work, hard work, is good for both the Chinese and the Russian people and, of course, is a serious stabilizing factor in the international arena, "Putin concluded.
