Serbia buys new Pantsir air defense systems from Russia

 

Serbian Foreign Minister Alexander Vulin has announced the purchase of new Russian Pantsir air defense systems, TACC reports.
"We got the Cornets. "We have received tanks, armored personnel carriers (APCs), we are buying new Armor," Vulin said during talks with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

No other details have been released yet.

Serbia expects to receive supplies of Russian Cornet anti-tank missile systems by the end of the year. This was announced by the head of state of our western neighbor Alexander Vucic after the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi, held in late November.
