The EU has threatened to send 6,000 troops to BiH

 


 Senior officials of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) have warned Republika Srpska authorities that their actions threaten peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, and the Greens in the European Parliament say Brussels is ready to respond militarily and immediately. to send 6,000 troops to the country, according to the electronic edition of the Macedonian newspaper Sloboden Pechat.

 The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde and Secretary-General Helga Maria Schmid said in a statement that Republika Srpska's attempts to unilaterally assume Bosnia and Herzegovina's current powers only increase tensions and threaten everything achieved in the country over the past 26 years.

 Due to the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a delegation of the Greens from the European Parliament arrived in the country this weekend to warn that Brussels will not be just observing the escalation of the crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina, after conclusions were adopted on 10 December. withdrawal of the subject's consent to state laws on defense, indirect taxation and the Supreme Judicial and Prosecutorial Council.

 MEPs have said they have received assurances from EU military generals that they can send up to 6,000 troops within 24 hours to make peace and thwart the intentions of the Banja Luka leadership. Republika Srpska lawmakers in the BiH parliament have refused to take part in talks with Weitz and Franz, saying the Greens' group in the European Parliament they represent has "unbalanced views".
