The foreign ministers of Britain and Germany discussed the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border

 


 British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss and German counterpart Analena Burbock discussed the situation on the border between Russia and Ukraine, the British Foreign Office said after talks between the countries before the G-7 ministerial meeting. The summit of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries will be held on December 11-12 in Liverpool, RIA Novosti reports.

 "Ministers agreed on the importance of protecting and promoting freedom and democracy and the need to oppose autocratic regimes that threaten the free world. They discussed a number of priorities, including the importance of the G-7 acting as a united front in the face of Russia's ongoing threat to Ukraine, the statement said.
