Vote for the resignation of Zaev's government on Thursday?

The parliament of the Republic of Northern Macedonia is expected to vote on the resignation of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev's government on Thursday, if the latter submits it on Wednesday, Skopje's 360 Degrees TV channel reported.

The resignation of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has not yet reached parliament, where final preparations are currently under way before today's annual address by President Stevo Pendarovski.

According to reports, it is possible that Zaev will resign after Pendarovski's address, but it is almost certain that it will not be announced immediately, given that no new parliamentary session is scheduled for today.

The first new session is tomorrow, and this is the session on parliamentary issues, which according to parliamentary sources is uncertain whether it will continue, given that the end of Zaev's resignation will be the resignation of his entire cabinet, which remains on duty until election of a new government.

Following the resignation of the prime minister, the head of state must appoint a new prime minister within ten days to form a new government and program within 20 days.
