A Turkish policeman found an explosive device under his car


 An explosive device was found under the personal car of a police officer in Nusaybin district in the province of Mardin in southeastern Turkey on Saturday night. It was later revealed that the officer was part of a team that was supposed to provide security support for an event in the province of Siirt, which he had to attend. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, writes the Turkish English-language Daily Sabah.

  The hand-made explosive device was placed under the parked private car of the police officer, who is part of the riot control unit in the small town of Nusaybin on the border with Syria. From there, the officer was to drive 200 kilometers northeast to Siirt, where Erdogan was to address the audience in the open.

When the explosive device was found on the spot, experts on bomb disposal were directed.

The teams destroyed the explosive device in a controlled manner.

  Crime investigation teams scanned the bomb and the suspect's fingerprint vehicle.

Efforts to apprehend the perpetrators of the explosives continued.

The employee left his home to go to the above-mentioned event in his personal car and had to pick up a friend who was also going to work. It was this friend of his who noticed the object under the vehicle.
