US President Joe Biden has said he does not respect anyone's red lines in the context of Ukraine. He answered questions from reporters before leaving for his residence in Camp David, Maryland, TACC reports.
The head of state was asked to comment on statements that Moscow considers red lines to bring NATO's infrastructure closer to Russia's borders and the deployment of strike systems on Ukrainian territory, as well as hypersonic weapons. "I don't recognize anyone's red line," Biden said.
He added that he hoped to have a "long conversation" with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. "We have known for a long time about Russia's actions. I expect that we will have a long conversation with Putin," the head of state said, referring to the situation on the Russian-Ukrainian border. He did not specify the possible term and format of contacts with the Russian leader.
