BiH security services have not received threats to the Croatian president's security

Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) police and security services have not received information about threats against Croatian President Zoran Milanovic, who, according to his cabinet, has canceled a visit to central Bosnia for security reasons, Skopje's Sloboden Pechat newspaper reported.

The director of the Police Coordination Service, Mirsad Vilic, told Bosnia and Herzegovina's State Radio and Television (BHRT) that he had worked for days with police agencies from BiH and Croatia involved in organizing the Croatian president's visit to central Bosnia.

"Our services had no information about a threat to Zoran Milanovic's security during his stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina," Vilic said.

Vilic is the director of an agency that coordinates the work of several police services, and his employees are most directly involved in the protection of VIPs.

He explained that in the last few days "they have not received any information that shows a threat to the security of the President of Croatia".

Central Bosnia Canton Interior Ministry spokesman Hassan Hodzic told local media that the security situation in the district was satisfactory.
