Russia's aviation and artillery of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) have worked out the destruction of a ship of a conventional enemy in the Black Sea during planned exercises, the press service of the Black Sea Fleet reported on Thursday, TASS reports.
"According to the plan of the exercises in the Black Sea, a surface ship of the conventional enemy with a group of saboteurs on board was discovered," the statement said.

According to the press service, in the first stage of the exercise, the crews of the Su-30SM multi-role fighters and the Su-24M front-line bombers launched a combat course with training missiles and bombs on a surface target. In the second stage, the teams of the Bastion complex took aim at the enemy ship, brought the installation into combat readiness and developed the algorithm of actions for inflicting missile strikes on a conditional target by the method of electronic launches.
On December 14, the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation announced that the French frigate Auvergne had entered the Black Sea. The Black Sea Fleet forces control its actions.
