Politician Ioannis Kasoulidis, who has twice served as Cyprus's foreign minister, will head the foreign ministry again. This was announced on Monday by the Cyprus News Agency CAN.
According to the agency, Kasoulidis is returning to the foreign ministry and will replace Nikos Christodoulidis as foreign minister, who will step down on Tuesday. President Nikos Anastasiadis and Kasoulidis are said to have had two telephone conversations in recent days: first on Friday and then this morning. The presidential palace has not yet issued an official announcement of the appointment.
