Russia has surrounded Ukraine with troops from three countries

Russia continues to keep the Ukrainian border under pressure. The New York Times published a new map of the concentration of Russian troops near Ukraine. According to preliminary data, there are about 100,000 Russian troops there.

According to the newspaper, the latest map was compiled on the basis of information received from Ukrainian and Western officials, as well as satellite images.

The publication notes that Russian troops surround Ukraine on three sides. The types of troops and their number are indicated on the map, the types of equipment are indicated. According to preliminary data, about 100,000 Russian troops are stationed in the area of the Ukrainian border.

Analysts polled by the NYT do not say unequivocally whether Russia intends to attack Ukraine. At the same time, they point out that Moscow is about to get everything it needs for a massive invasion.

The map shows dozens of places of concentration of Russian troops with artillery, heavy equipment and tanks. In particular, three groups are located near Voronezh, two groups are closer to the Belarusian border, another is close to Volgograd, two are close to the occupied Donbass, one each in the Krasnodar Territory and the occupied Crimea.
