The German charity ship Sea Watch 3, carrying hundreds of migrants rescued at sea, will dock in the Italian port of Pozzalo in Sicily, the charity group that manages it wrote on Twitter, quoted by Reuters.
The ship has been looking for a port to leave migrants for the past week after rescuing them from the Mediterranean.
"The 440 people on board will finally be able to land," Sea Watch wrote.
People on board, mostly from Africa, were rescued late last week in five separate operations. They include about 200 minors, most of them unaccompanied, a Sea Watch spokesman said.
