North Korea has launched a presumably ballistic missile with a ground installation in the direction of the Sea of Japan. This was reported by Yonhap, citing data from the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Republic of Korea.
It is noted that the South Korean military is in contact with the United States and continues to analyze the data from the launch.
According to the Japanese Coast Guard, the missile fell into the Sea of Japan. According to unofficial data, the place of the fall, according to preliminary estimates, is outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan.
Currently, the Japanese Ministry of Defense is also analyzing information about the DPRK launch and is not yet able to provide accurate data on the crash site, altitude of the missile and other details.
