Germany's new foreign minister, Analena Burbock, is leaving for her first visit to the United States since taking office to talk to US counterpart Anthony Blinken about the crisis in Ukraine, RND reported, adding that it would be the second meeting between the two.
During his first visit as a minister to the United States, in addition to Blinken Burbock, he will meet with other officials, said a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry in Berlin.
This is the second meeting of the "green" politician with Blinken - Burbock spoke with him shortly after taking office in December at the G7 Foreign Ministers' Forum in Liverpool.
